The good news: As of June 18, 2019, food manufacturers are no longer allowed to use partially hydrogenated oils in foods due to their health risks. (YAY ) . The bad news: Processed foods manufactured before this date are allowed to remain on the market until January 1, 2021. (BOO ) . SOPA DE ZAPALLO 🥣 Buenas!! Hoy les dejo la receta de la sopa que hice hoy por stories. Se vienen dos recetas mas con ese zapallo que no para de alimentarnos! Para hacerla necesitas: -500 cc de caldo de verduras, -1 diente de ajo, -1 rodaja de jengibre, -2 papas chicas, -300 gr de zapallo o calabaza y -condimenros a gusto. 1.-Ponemos aceite a calentar en una olla que preferentemente tenga fondo grueso. Agregamos todos los vegetales cortados groseramente y los doramos. 2.- Cuando se ablanden, agregamos el caldo y mantenemos a fuego medio hasta que todas las verduras esten bien cocidas. 3.-Condimentamos a gusto. Yo le agregue masala, sal, pimienta y una cucharada de miel. I had to document my monthly “return to the gym” This month I am actually going to make it stick! I have a couple weeks off from running before my next training starts so focusing on establishing a good routine NOW. I want to get a jump on my goals and be prepared for the new year. . Today I did a 30 minute bike session to just get my legs moving after Sunday’s race followed by 45 minutes of total body strength...it felt amazing. I always forget how much I enjoy the gym until I’m there and today was an excellent reminder of that!

Thought I’d share the concept of a snack meal again for those of y’all who are new :) Here’s the thing that’s great about the snack meal: it challenges the idea that in order to have a complete, nutritious, balanced meal, you have to slave away in the kitchen or spend hours meal prepping. Sure you can do that if you want, but it’s so freeing to know you don’t HAVE to! Today I had a yummy, filling, balanced, and nourishing meal that took no joke 2 mins (minus the time I spent making it look pretty🥴) to throw together.
